I bought this as a gift for our son. He loved getting it. I will update as soon as he has his first crop.

I just harvested my first flush of blue oysters in a mush bucket. The kit was so easy to use and provided the rapid gratification I desired - I also inoculated some oak logs with shiitakes and experimenting with morels for long term shroom production. The first flush gave me over 29 oz and I left some smaller clusters to keep growing. Hoping for more before I switch things up for warmer weather varieties. I could have built my own bucket but nothing beats someone else setting me up for success! Nice kit!

Really enjoyed using the MushBucket! It was very easy instructions to follow and have gotten 2 flushes and well over 2 lb first flush. My only complaint would be that maybe instead of a 5 gallon bucket to offer a couple of 2 or 3 gallon buckets. This would make fitting it into a Martha tent easier as I had to remove a shelf in my boom room. Otherwise, such a great product!

I went ahead with the pasteurization method based on the instructions which were very easy to follow and gave a step by step process on how to get it done.

If you have any doubts and don’t want to deal with drilling holes this kit is a great choice. Exciting times!

This was very helpful at getting started in buckets, but the straw didn't fill all the buckets. The burlap bag was very useful at draining the water, and the hanger was great as well. I really like that the buckets were pre-drilled holes that make the next step easier. Is there a way we can order sawdust instead of grain spawn for the all in one bucket? I've had bad luck with grain but not sawdust. If there is a way to change the grain for sawdust, I think if would've work for me. Overall, I love the products of north spore, their support team is especially good as responding to their customers.

The mush bucket was very simple to setup. I followed the instructions to the letter. I am well pleased. It has not started to produce yet, but the weather has been very hot and rainy. Overall I am very pleased.

My first ever bucket grow. Setup was easy to follow, the bucket was fully colonized in 14 days and started pinning at the 15 day mark. First flush was 2 lbs of blye oyster mushrooms!

Received by mushbucket to experiment with growing my own mushrooms. Everything came so well packaged and ready to use. Having everything prepared like this is so helpful for a beginner like myself, so I greatly appreciate the ease that comes along with this kit. It's a great size too so I'll be able to store it wherever I would like without having to worry about space issues.
