I love everything the shop offers. You may want to look at how you store grain though. Shipping can get very hot... And all 3 of the grain spawn I bought in my last purchase, had one or more spots where grain was too wet and gets squished into the corners where they decay. Before this experience, I was always thrilled at the product quality and fair pricing! I used to buy supplies from Booming Acrers, another online store like this, and they had a product guarantee as well. I lost 8 cultures! Every single grain spawn bag would start to show contaminating in the very first stages of the colinaization phase! Not one made it to the bins I made. These self contained systems are INCREDIBLE! I have one cake that is on its 5th flush! Abcd another is about to sprout. I inoculated them anyway, with a hole and prayer. And was so sad one is just where the grain decayed from great and water. I checked my grain spawn today and there was a sour smell 😓 at least one, if not all 3, it's contaminated. Your company and workers didn't do anything wrong, its an unintended variable. I would think they would do that if I was shipping them, either. So I'm bringing it to your attention with 4 stars though I know it was not your fault. I hope Ed can make it right so I can give you the 5 stars you deserve!

Great product, low contam rate.

These come sealed in a separate bag. Along with a still air box and good sterile techniques, they make cleaning up mycelium and isolating relatively easy. I recommend micropore tape or parafilm to make a band around it and help prevent contamination.

I used to use spore syringes a lot to inoculate my bags and didn't it have the best of luck ever since I switched to agar plates I have been successful and growing my own mushrooms
