Troubleshooting

1) The humidity controller will display "HHH" if too much humidity is detected.

2) The humidity controller will display “LLL” if too little humidity is detected. (Please note: The "LLL" message can appear for multiple reasons):

  • The humidity sensor has not been set up. To fix: Set up your desired minimum and maximum humidity settings, then insert humidity sensor into the chamber (with the humidifer running). Wait 5 minutes.
  • There is not enough humidity in the chamber. To fix: Check humidifier to confirm it has water. If controller is still reading “LLL,” lower the fan setting.
  • The gray sensor probe is malfunctioning. If you still see “LLL” after entering the min/max settings, inserting the humidity probe, verifying the humidifier has water, and lowering the fan setting, then the gray sensor probe is broken.

This works awesome!

So it pays to be sure you place this properly in your MONOTUB so it gets a proper humidity reading. The way they explain it in the instructions for how your should place it is PERFECT! Use caution not to try and pull it through the filter patch if you are trying to move it. Instead carefully push it back out from the inside because pulling on the cord can stress the internal components and unplug something inside the controller sensor. Always push it through or push it back out by the hardened sensor piece itself.

Be extra careful to use the settings to set both the humidity value for WHEN you want the controller to turn your humidity machine ON and WHEN you want it to turn the machine OFF! If you fail to set both values it will either never turn on or never turn off and just flood your grow chamber. Read the instructions carefully that come with it because they ensure you do not have this issue! ☺️👍

The first one I received malfunctioned and flooded the ready-to-fruit mono tub. Disaster I thought. I drained the tub as best I could of the couple of quarts of liquid and prayed. Ended up with four flushes of beauties. Northspore quickly replaced the item. 👍 I’m Happy!
