Due to an increase in cultivation, lion’s mane (Hericium erinaceus) has become increasingly popular and widely available as a supplement and gourmet food option in recent years. Lion’s mane is an accessible medicine and plentiful food source that can be grown or foraged in most communities across the United States.
Join herbalist, Tanya Donatelli, for a deep dive into this exciting mushroom that is most well known for its affinity for the brain and nervous system. In this class we will discuss history, benefits, actions, dosage, preparation, and tips on how to incorporate lion’s mane mushroom into one’s daily life. There will also be time provided for community discussion and Q & A.
