Have Questions Before You Grow?

You are buying the controlled indoor growing environment and its included environmental hardware. Boomr Bin is a compact automated monotub; BoomRoom II is a five-rack enclosed grow chamber.

Boomr Bin and BoomRoom II are the grow environments. Fruiting Blocks are selected separately so you can choose the mushroom species you want to grow and reorder fresh blocks for future harvests.

Boomr Bin is the more compact starting point if you want one contained grow. BoomRoom II is also designed to be approachable for beginners, but it makes more sense if you already know you want multiple blocks or more capacity.

Compatible options include Lion’s Mane, Shiitake, Grey Oyster, Pink Oyster, Chestnut, Reishi, Golden Enoki, King Trumpet, and other species when used with an appropriate grow format and species-specific conditions.

It automates important parts of the fruiting environment such as humidity and fresh-air exchange. You still choose the mushroom, use compatible growing material, keep your cultivation practices clean, monitor the grow, and harvest it.

It is a basic assembly with labeled parts and detailed instructions, with most users able to have it running in under an hour without special tools.

Each of the five shelves is rated for up to 9.1 kg of substrate or four fruiting blocks, for up to approximately 45.4 kg across the system.

Lion’s Mane and Oyster mushrooms are strong starting points because they are reliable producers and require less effort than many other species.

A controlled fruiting chamber is recommended for the best results because it makes humidity and fresh-air exchange easier to manage. Some species can be fruited with simpler methods, but Boomr Bin and BoomRoom II are designed to make those conditions easier to maintain.

Yes. North Spore’s replacement policy lists a one-year warranty for BoomRoom kits and Automated Boomr Bin kits, with eligible replacements available for up to 365 days from purchase.
