Slants are ideal for growers looking to make culture plates or for longer-term culture storage. Our slants are 1st generation, of the highest quality, and cryopreserved in vials to ensure optimal viability.
Golden Oyster slants are made to order and have a shelf life of approximately 12 months. They should be stored in the refrigerator or in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Note that slants require basic lab skills. Handle using sterile technique to prevent contamination.

Pleurotus citrinopileatus. This commercial strain of golden oyster produces relatively dense clusters of bright yellow caps. Fruits best at warmer temperatures. Showy mushrooms are great for farmers' markets and local accounts but are generally too brittle for long distance transport.
