📦 Using the fruiting block
If you cannot use the block right away, you can keep it cool (approx. 8°C) for 1 to 2 weeks. However, we recommend opening the block soon after receiving it. This variety prefers temperatures between 20 and 30°C, with the ideal being around 25°C.
To achieve a nice bright pink color, ensure plenty of light. Make a slit on the side of the block at the level of the substrate, push the air out of the bag, and lay it down with the opening on the side. Keep the bag moist until the pins appear, with a humidity of 80 to 90%. Use our minispray or our professional foggers to maintain optimal humidity.

🌱 Where to grow it
Grow indoors (kitchen, garage, cellar) or in a warm, well-lit spot. Pink oyster mushrooms need indirect light and good ventilation. Avoid drafts and direct heat sources.
📦 Storage
Harvest the clusters before the edges of the caps start to curl up and begin to fade. The caps of pink oyster mushrooms grow quickly, sometimes doubling in size in a single day. Harvest as soon as growth slows down to ensure a tender texture and a vivid color. Pull off the clusters by twisting them. Remove any leftover pieces of stem on the substrate and keep it moist until the next harvest.
Pink oyster mushrooms keep for about 2-3 days in a paper bag in the fridge. For longer storage, you can dry them.
💡 Tips for later harvests
To encourage growth and productivity of the second and third harvests:
- Rehydrate the bags by soaking them overnight in water, then drain them and put them back into cultivation.
- Apply a cold shock by placing the block in a cool spot (fridge or outdoors) overnight to stimulate the next fruiting.
