Unser dehydrierter Kokos-Coir wurde für überlegenes Myzelwachstum entwickelt und bietet optimalen pH-Wert, Feuchtigkeitsspeicherung, gleichmäßigen Gasaustausch und wichtige Spurenelemente für Ihre Pilzzucht. Als erster Kokos-Coir, der speziell für seine Pilzzuchteigenschaften erforscht und ausgewählt wurde, kann Myco Coco sowohl als Deckschicht als auch als Substratzusatz verwendet werden. Es ist auch ein erstklassiges Substrat für den Anbau von Pflanzen im Innen- und Außenbereich.

Dreifach gewaschen und gepuffert, um pH-Wert und Nährstoffgehalt anzupassen, schafft Myco Coco das ideale Luft-Wasser-Verhältnis und ist somit ideal für den Anbau von Gourmet- und Heilpilzen. RHP-zertifiziert, um die höchsten Substratstandards in der Branche zu garantieren, ist es natürlich frei von Schädlingen und Unkrautsamen. Myco Coco wird aus Kokosnussschalen hergestellt, ist biologisch abbaubar und eine 100% erneuerbare Ressource. Es enthält auch Spuren von Magnesium und Kalzium, die zum Gesamtwachstum der Pilze beitragen.

Kokos-Coir wird in der Pilzzucht aufgrund seiner mikrobiellen Beständigkeit, seiner Fähigkeit, Feuchtigkeit zu speichern, und seiner Nährstoffzusammensetzung weit verbreitet eingesetzt. Es wird hauptsächlich als Deckschicht in Monotubs oder als Substratzusatz verwendet. Es kann aber auch in Gartenbeeten als Alternative zu Torfmoos verwendet werden.

Ergibt ca. 1 Gallone (3-4 Liter) Kokos-Coir nach dem Rehydrieren

Anwendung:

  • Als Deckschicht: Kokos-Coir sollte nur zu vollständig kolonisiertem Substrat hinzugefügt werden, das mit Myzel bedeckt ist und gut entwickelte Primordien und/oder beginnende Pins aufweist. Nur eine dünne Schicht Kokos-Coir (0,6 bis 1,3 cm) ist notwendig.
  • In Massensubstrat: Nach der Rehydrierung (siehe Anweisungen unten) Kokos-Coir mit anderen Zutaten in der gewünschten Menge zu Ihrem Massenrezept geben. Nach der Kombination pasteurisieren oder sterilisieren.

WICHTIG: Dehydrierter Kokos-Coir muss vor Gebrauch rehydriert und pasteurisiert werden. (Vollständige Anweisungen finden Sie weiter unten.)

Rehydration & pasteurization

TO REHYDRATE FOR USE:

Please note: Once hydrated, Myco Coco should be used the same day. One brick of Myco Coco is enough to case two Boomr Bins or similarly-sized monotubs.

1. Bring two quarts or liters of water to a boil. Turn off the heat source.

2. Place your brick in a clean, heat-safe bowl or bucket. Pour the hot water onto the coir and watch it expand! Wait for the temperature to drop enough that it is safe to touch. 

3. Using clean or gloved hands, thoroughly mix the coir and water until no dry coir remains. Transfer half of the hydrated coir to the top of the fully colonized substrate as a casing layer.

4. Check on the casing every few days to see if additional hydration is needed. Use a spray bottle of previously boiled or distilled water to rehydrate.

WARNING: Burn Hazard

Can cause skin burns if coco coir does not cool water sufficiently, handle with extreme caution.
