Slants are ideal for growers looking to make culture plates or for longer-term culture storage. Our slants are 1st generation and cryopreserved in vials to ensure optimal viability.
Agaricus slants are made to order and have a shelf life of approximately 6 months if stored above 70 degrees, away from direct sunlight. Note that slants require basic lab skills. Handle using sterile technique to prevent contamination.

Agaricus blazei. Our Almond Agaricus strain, producing fragrant relatives from the button family. Prefers temperatures above 70. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.

Agaricus bitorquis. A warm-weather white button mushroom known as a "Tork". Fruits between 75-77. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.

Agaricus brunnescens. The standard "Champignon" white button mushroom. Fruits in cooler weather and manure and compost-based substrates; 60-65 degrees. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
