The Immunity Blend tincture consists of the following four mushrooms, all with immune system boosting qualities; Chaga (Inonotus obliquus), Reishi (ganoderma tsugae), Shiitake (lentinula edodes), and Hen of the Woods (grifola frondosa). The tincture is high in antioxidants (Chaga), stimulates T cell and NK cell activity (Reishi and Hen of the Woods), and promotes major organ health (Shiitake) (Babitskaya et al., 2002; Gao, 2004; Marley, 2009). In one study, mice given a combination of Shiitake, Hen of the Woods, and Reishi extracts demonstrated increased Natural Killer cell and macrophage activity (Yin et al., 2007). These two cell types are essential to immune system function.
