Turn your growing space into a tropical mushroom display. The Pink Oyster Fruiting Block contains a fully colonized substrate ready to produce fresh Pleurotus djamor, a fast-growing gourmet species prized for its vivid color and delicate texture.

Depending on lighting and maturity, pink oyster mushrooms develop caps ranging from soft light pink to deep pinkish-red. Their clustered growth makes each flush especially striking, while their distinctive appearance brings an added visual element to indoor cultivation.

This Pink Oyster Fruiting Block is designed for practical home growing. Place it in a clean area with indirect light, maintain appropriate humidity, and provide regular fresh-air exchange according to the included care guidance. No inoculation or substrate preparation is required.

Pink oysters are well suited to indoor growers who want a rewarding species with noticeable progress and an edible harvest. When mature, clusters can be harvested by twisting or cutting them cleanly at the base, then enjoyed fresh in a variety of cooked dishes.

For best results, avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat, and standing water on the block. Fruiting performance depends on environmental conditions, including humidity, temperature, airflow, and light.

North Spore develops cultivation products with mycologist-informed expertise and an education-first approach, helping growers understand the conditions that support reliable mushroom production. The block is a focused choice for adding color, variety, and hands-on discovery to an indoor growing setup.

Bad block

I received them on Monday and put them in my walk in cooler till Tuesday. By Thursday I had white cotton looking fluff which started turning black by evening. I sprayed Hydrogen peroxide on it hoping that would knock it out. Now I have a green patch on the block.
I opened only one of four blocks I purchased. Also I opened one Italian, one blue and one lions mane. They appear to be doing well.
