These pre-poured sterile agar petri dishes are ideal for growing out fungal cultures, cloning wild mushroom specimens, and germinating fungal spores. Each dish contains pre-sterilized potato dextrose agar (PDA).
Pre-poured agar plates offer many benefits over pouring your own dishes. In addition to convenience, they are also less likely to contaminate your cultures because they are poured in a lab under an industrial-grade flow hood.
Storing unused plates:
For best results, use plates as soon as possible after receiving them. Store unused plates upright, at room temperature, and away from direct sunlight in the original packaging, preferably in a clean secondary container. (Unused plates can be stored upside down in the fridge. However, this can lead to condensation on the lid which can increase contamination risk.)
Storing plates with cultures:
Once cultures are added to plates, store them right side up in the refrigerator.

Agar was contaminated with bacteria only one plate was clean. Probably not gonna use you guys again, given their are plenty of smaller more reliable companies out right now.

exactly what i wanted but i feel they should be plastic wrapped before it gets put in the actual plastic, only because mine arrived and was full of liquid because of the heat. i believe i was able to salvage the rest but im not sure just yet, hopefully they still work out for me i’m sure there great.

I love everything the shop offers. You may want to look at how you store grain though. Shipping can get very hot... And all 3 of the grain spawn I bought in my last purchase, had one or more spots where grain was too wet and gets squished into the corners where they decay. Before this experience, I was always thrilled at the product quality and fair pricing! I used to buy supplies from Booming Acrers, another online store like this, and they had a product guarantee as well. I lost 8 cultures! Every single grain spawn bag would start to show contaminating in the very first stages of the colinaization phase! Not one made it to the bins I made. These self contained systems are INCREDIBLE! I have one cake that is on its 5th flush! Abcd another is about to sprout. I inoculated them anyway, with a hole and prayer. And was so sad one is just where the grain decayed from great and water. I checked my grain spawn today and there was a sour smell 😓 at least one, if not all 3, it's contaminated. Your company and workers didn't do anything wrong, its an unintended variable. I would think they would do that if I was shipping them, either. So I'm bringing it to your attention with 4 stars though I know it was not your fault. I hope Ed can make it right so I can give you the 5 stars you deserve!
