The best gardens grow mushrooms

  • As easy as planting a tomato start
  • Plant it right next to your vegetables or herbs
  • Harvest mushrooms in as little as two weeks

Your first harvest starts here

Bury. Water. Harvest.

No complicated setup, just a simple method designed for outdoor gardens.

Pick your spot

Choose a shaded area with soil or mulch. Dig a hole about the size of the block, deep enough so it can be fully covered once placed. A cool, protected spot will give you the best results.

Plant the block

Remove the block from its bag and place it in the hole. Fill in the sides with soil so there are no gaps, then cover the top with a couple inches of wood chips to help retain moisture.

Watch it grow

Water after planting and keep it lightly watered, especially on dry days. In as little as 1 to 2 weeks, mushrooms begin to appear. Harvest fresh clusters right from your garden.
