Premium Mushroom Spawn
Achieve a better grow with premium mushroom spawn
North Spore spawn is made from the highest-quality cultures and formulated by expert mycologists.
Whether you're a commercial mushroom grower, small scale grower, or weekend hobbyist, we offer a large variety of certified organic grain spawn, sawdust spawn, and plug spawn for every mushroom growing project.
Organic Grain Spawn
Our certified organic grain spawn is made with a proprietary blend of millet and wheat berries. Grain spawn is ideal for indoor mushroom production, outdoor beds, and spawning monotubs or containers.
Sawdust Spawn
Sawdust spawn is most often used to inoculate logs. However, some species can be used to inoculate outdoor beds. It's preferred for larger log inoculation projects, and pairs perfectly with our inoculation tools.
Plug Spawn
Plug spawn is great for smaller log projects or for those new to growing mushrooms on logs. 8.5mm holes are drilled around the the circumference of freshly cut hardwood logs and plug spawn is hammered into the holes.
All North Spore spawn is handmade in Maine, USA and 100% guaranteed.
