This is an excellent quick and simple to use kit for newbies or seasoned growers who just want a nice clean set up. Got it unpacked and running in like 15 min, set up is super easy. It’s been running on auto pilot for a few weeks now and I just harvested a lovely lions mane flush from my first round of cultivation.

It has been great. I do think that there should be an app for the controls. I went on a trip for a weekend and worried about the system while I was away. It would be great if it was autoset to turn on and off when needed.

The equipment malfunctioned but Northspore made it right. That's what I love about them. They stand by their products and offer solutions when things go wrong.

Havnt purchased was just wondering . How many grow bags does the tent hold at 1 time

it's not that bad but there are a few things left to be desired! the humidifier seems to be overkill for the size tent, even trimming the setting back there's pools of water. the humidifier feed pipe needs to be on an angle to help prevent the water droplets from dripping out into the tent and could run back down the pipe. The steel shelves rust out within weeks. i wish there was a better filter option for the fae fan as the provided ones are barely large enough to wrap around the fan then try to get it secured in the tent feed tube. i think we can do better Team!

The BoomRoom II tent itself is well designed. The enclosure is sturdy, and the included rubber floor mat is a nice addition for protecting against runoff or accidental pooling. The FAE fan performs as advertised and provides plenty of ventilation.

The included humidity controller initially malfunctioned, but North Spore’s customer support team responded quickly and sent a replacement. While waiting, I used an AC Infinity Controller 79 during empty tent commissioning.

My only significant complaint is the included humidifier. It has far more output than this tent volume requires, and even its lowest output setting is too powerful for precise control. I spent several days trying to dial it in with the Controller 79 set with no humidity buffer. I eventually had to lower the activation point to 86% RH. Once the tent reached range, even corrections lasting only one or two seconds could cause the humidity to continue climbing to 94% to 96%.

The resulting pattern was a classic bang bang sawtooth control cycle. The controller activated the humidifier at approximately 86%, too much mist entered before the reading caught up, and the remaining mist caused a large overshoot. The tent then took approximately 45 minutes to drift naturally back to 86% before repeating the cycle.

The first attachment shows the testing of the included humidifier and demonstrates this pattern clearly. Humidity ranged from 86.0% to 96.0%, with a 91.4% average. The average sounds acceptable by itself, but it hides the repeated 10 percentage point swings. Multiple days of adjustments produced essentially the same pattern.

Because this happened while I was targeting the recommended 90% to 95% fruiting range, I did not attempt to test lower humidity ranges, where that degree of overshoot would be even more difficult to manage.

I replaced the included humidifier with an AC Infinity Cloudforge T3 and was able to dial it in within the first 15 minutes. The second attachment shows the testing of the T3. During that test, humidity ranged from 88.2% to 92.4%, with a 91.1% average. Continued testing showed that this tighter pattern held consistently. Instead of producing one large humidity spike followed by a long decline, the T3 makes smaller, more frequent corrections and maintains a much narrower range.

Overall, the tent, floor protection, and FAE system are very good. I would recommend that North Spore include a smaller variable output humidifier or provide substantially finer control at the lowest setting. The included humidifier can easily generate enough humidity, but it is difficult to regulate precisely in a tent this small. It may come in handy if I ever move to a larger tent, but I wish I could have returned the humidifier separately. Since I purchased the system on sale as a package, I assumed returning only the humidifier was not an available option.

I also want to make it clear that North Spore’s customer support deserves an A. The team responded quickly and promptly replaced the malfunctioning controller. My criticism is specifically about the humidifier being oversized for the BoomRoom II, not the quality of the tent or the customer service.

I like everything except the defective mister but they are replacing it so all is good.

It was great until it got this hole by the zipper now my floor keeps getting wet. Is there any way to fix this?

The boom room II is amazing, it gives me much more control over some of the conditions for my mushrooms than my set up i had before, the setup was easy and the ultrasonic humidifier is awesome. My first flush of pink oyster were delicious. I would like to see improvements on the drip tray at the bottom of the tent however the benefits far outweigh that. Love the product thanks.

This is my first grow tent. I'm new to this hobby and still learning. It took a couple of days to get my setting correct but I think I have it dialed in. The racks do rust. I just hope that they last over time. The only other problem is that I wish that there was a little more extra room between the shelves. Overall I am having fun with this new hobby.
