Assembly & Setup

Where to Place It:

  • Flat, accessible area

Assembly Overview:

  1. Attach panels with short screws; leave top holes open for framing.
  2. Build frame using included rods and hardware.
  3. Attach misting loop with frame clips.
  4. Secure desired cover with grommets and stakes.

Minor issue on a beautiful product...

The Positives:
The raised bed is of amazing quality. The main unit goes together smoothly and there is no issue with the side wall components or the hardware. It really is a quality product. The top frame fit perfectly and with careful consideration while assembling, it goes together like a dream. I was really impressed with how nice this was. The covers are interchangeable and allow for another degree of control over the mycosphere's climate. The covers fit snugly and slide on and off effortlessly.
The misting system is fitted nicely and is very simple to install.
The Negatives:
There was an issue with the misting controller. It leaked because the coupling that connects the unit to the hose/spigot (female/top coupling) was cracked. It leaked water continuously even when not engaged to mist. Upon further research, I believe that I caused the failure by allowing too much pressure through the controller. So, if you purchase this mycosphere, be sure you mitigate the pressure the unit is under from your source. I wound up purchasing a second timer on Amazon along with a pressure regulator to keep water pressure entering the timer within an acceptable range.
Once my setup was fixed, it has run beautifully since. Credit to North Spore for an amazing unit.
The only suggestion I have is for North Spore to make it more known to the customers that high pressure into the timer might ruin it... I did not know this was a hazard and had to learn the hard way.

A defective clip (which is minor and I was willing to look past it), a screw that will not screw in at all to attach the top rods where the covers sit, and a timer with the hose connector that was broken... So far this has been a very frustrating experience for me.
