Patent-pending design:
With NocBox, there is no inner frame to pre-assemble. Simply remove it from the storage bag, unfold the clear cover, slide in support bars, and you're ready to go! This unique design also provides a smooth inner surface for easy cleanup between uses (and fewer places for contaminants to hide!)

How to clean
We recommend cleaning between each use to keep all surfaces as sterile as possible.
- Remove any spills using a damp cloth and mild cleanser.
- Sanitize by spraying with a 70% isopropyl alcohol solution inside and out. Allow ample time to dry.
- DO NOT use bleach or abrasives.

What else can I say, I can fit a 5 gallon bucket of CVG, a MaxYield Monotub with lid, alcohol spray, tools, and 5lb bag of yellow reischi spawn. You have enough room to build out the tub in a secure area, which helps for those of us without a laminar flow hood. You need one these now. Throw away the modified steralite. Plus, if you have issues, Noth Spore strands behind their products. They and this sab rock.

This SAB from NS is well worth the money. It’s easy to set up and break down, has ample vertical and horizontal space, is easy to disinfect and clean, and most importantly has done a superior job at keeping 95 percent of my mycology work contamination free.

The SAB is quite large and fairly easy to work with. Once set up it is the best overall design I found with the slanted window. There are a few minor improvements that would be nice. It seems to be decent materials but the zippers could be heavier, and the pole shock cord should be heavier. Using a couple of modern tents and seeing what they do would have gone a long way towards fixing the small issues of the box. The light shock cord means anytime you need to pull back on a pole it comes apart with almost zero resistance making putting it in and out more difficult than it needs to be. The way the pole fits into the sleeve is finicky. If you can set it up and leave it. No problem. Taking it up and down regularly is a pain. A 90% percent sleeve with a couple of clear inches and pole cups on each end would be much easier. Shock cord in the sleeves that you could push through and it would "auto" tighten would be better than the little push clips that again are too small to provide much resistance and they slip. The shock cord in the poles and sleeves are modifications I can make but shouldn't have to at this price point. For what it is worth I would guess the other boxes in this basic style probably have the same flaws. I'm not trying to be critical of the design but wanting to point out simple changes that would make future products easier to use. Overall it seems to be a good SAB and time will tell how well it holds up. Keep up the good work!

The Nocbox worked well for the first 4 or 5 times that I set it up. Then one of the spring steel ribs broke and now it won't expand on the right side. I would say if you are using one of these, set it up and don't take it down. At least it didn't put out my eye when it broke.

I’m not sure if the tent poles are supposed to fully recess into the designated sleeve channels (which one did easily ), but most did not; ended up having them catch on material lip of side panel. Didnt like that at all. But it all functions as intended there after.

First two things I noticed out of the box: material is durable and thick - not cheap… time will tell, but I have high confidence that it will last for years; and this is one of the few SABs I shopped that has a slanted front/top panel. Looking down through a clear panel is very convenient - as opposed to having to peer over/under a seam. Setup was simple and intuitive and took under two minutes. If you’re on the fence, my advice is purchase this box — you won’t be disappointed.

I've had success without the Noc Box, but why not add a little piece of mind? I've used it once so far, and so far, so good. Love the size, ease of use, and that you can fold it up and pack it away. Another great product from North Spore!

I used it a couple times now, overall i like the concept, and havnt had any contamination problems yet… i will say it was a bit cumbersome to inoculate the boomrbin, while having a grain spawn bag, and the 3 bags of substrate in it as well. Im sure i will learn how to be more efficient the more i use the product. Overall a great product, and easy to clean, and sanitize!

Easy to setup and use. I can see the benefits of it. Breakdown could be a little easier but then the product might suffer as a result of cheaper materials, overall I like and will continue using this product to keep my processes as sterile as possible.

The box works great, is large enough for mono tubs and packs up fast. I bought it for mushroom propagation but am using it now for a pollen collection project. Its working perfectly for that as well.

It’s hard to fold back up and put in its carry case. The plastic ripped at one of the seems after the 4th time I took it out to use. A little too expensive. I like northspore though. hopefully they modify it and make it cheaper for the next enthusiast down the road.

I have used this a lot now and it works really well. You can see through it easily, it is comfortable to work in, ample space, sturdy, and most importantly works! I have had very little go dirty on me when using this, including my plates.

I have tried many portable still air boxes. This is the best! It has the best of both worlds: poles that maintain the integrity of the box and yet be foldable and compact without the poles. I don't know how they would improve on this design but if they do I'm buying it!
