'Rudolph' reishi (Ganoderma lucidum) is our favorite indoor reishi strain! It produces dense colorful antlers and, when given more time and proper gas exchange, will produce brownish-red shelf-like caps. Reishi is an extremely low maintenance indoor species to cultivate because it spends its entire life in a sealed filter patch bag.
Our liquid culture syringes are ~10ml and come sealed in a plastic sleeve with a sterile 16 gauge needle and alcohol wipe.
About liquid culture:
Liquid culture is mycelium suspended in a nutrient-rich medium. Syringes are beginner-friendly and ideal for those looking for an easy way to inoculate grain bags and jars.
Directions for use:
For best results, refrigerate upon receipt. Syringes should be inserted into a self-healing injection port. Always handle using sterile technique and shake thoroughly before use. We recommended inoculation in either a still air box or flow hood to reduce the possibility of contamination. If you plan to re-use your needle, sterilize before and after each subsequent use.

Reishi, the Mushroom of Immortality
Excellent product! Already expanded it into a liquid culture broth and one week later there's mycelium everywhere. Put one drop onto a MYPA plate and it's taking off; will try on a PDYPA plate next. Very vigorous strain. Inoculated three quart jars of rye with 2ml straight from the syringe and all are growing nicely. Beautiful thing is these grow beautiful antlers right in the bag, no need for a fruiting chamber unless you want the flat conks. Might even try sterilizing some oak logs in filter bags, make some sawdust spawn, seal and let it sit for a few months before planting the logs outside. That's the fun of this hobby - you get to experiment!

Reishi Liquid Culture
This culture seems great so far - have not inoculated any fruiting bags as of yet but the culture seems strong and growth was fast and agressive on agar.
