What is a Boomr Bag?

A Boomr Bag is a sterilized manure based bulk substrate used to grow any dung loving species of edible mushroom such as Agaricus spp. or Coprinus cometus. North Spore does not condone the use of Boomr Bags to grow any species of mushroom that contains Psilocybin unless they are legal in your jurisdiction. Please note that North Spore's products shall be used only for lawful purposes!

How and for how long can I store my Boomr Bag before use?

Boomr Bags can be stored at room temperature out of direct sunlight for several months before use.

Why is the product called a Boomr Bag?

A boomer is any mushroom that grows rapidly. The product is named Boomr Bag because your edible mushrooms will virtually explode from the substrate!

What is the blend inside the Boomr Bag made from?

Boomr Bags are a proprietary substrate blend made primarily from coco coir and composted horse manure - the exact substrate blend is top secret ; ) . The blend is sterilized in an autoclave in a 5 micron filter patch bag.

How do I use my Boomr Bag?

Most people will use Boomr Bags in a Mono Tub. We've created this great walk-through that explains how to use them!
