Slants are ideal for growers looking to make culture plates or for longer-term culture storage. Our slants are 1st generation, of the highest quality, and cryopreserved in vials to ensure optimal viability.
Pink Oyster slants are made to order and have a shelf life of approximately 6 months if stored above 70 degrees, away from direct sunlight. Note that slants require basic lab skills. Handle using sterile technique to prevent contamination.

Pleurotus djamor. This Oyster species produces large flowery clusters of bright Pink Oyster mushrooms. This strain is very fast growing and tolerant of non-sterile cultivation techniques. Fruits best at warmer temperatures and is not recommended for cold season production.

Pleurotus salmoeostramineus. This tropical pink oyster mushroom strain produces beautiful clusters of light to deep pink mushrooms and has a delicious meaty texture. An alternative Pink Oyster species favored by some growers; still produces well in hot weather and will die in temperatures under 50 degrees.
