Spore Rewards FAQs
When will I see my points in my account?
Purchases: Points for your purchase will be available for use 30 days after your order has been placed. Until the 30 days have expired, you will see them in your account with a "pending" status.
Reviews: Once you leave a review under a product you've purchased, you will see your points in your account 30 days after your review has been submitted.
Do Spore Reward points expire?
Yes, points expire after 24 months if there has been no activity (meaning no eligible NorthSpore.com transactions) with an account.
Where do I find my referral URL?
You can find your custom, sharable referral URL by logging into your northspore.com account account under the "Spore Rewards" tab and clicking on the "Refer a Friend" button.
Simply copy the URL from the refer a friend pop-up and text, email, or share through social media to your fungi-loving friends and family!
Where can I view my point balance or available rewards?
Your rewards, tier status, earning activities, and reward history are available in your Spore Rewards Account on Northspore.com when you are logged in.
How do I redeem my points for a reward?
- Log into your account on NorthSpore.com and click the Spore Rewards tab.
- Find the available reward you would like to redeem your points for and click the “Get Reward” button. A popup will appear asking you to confirm your redemption.
- Once you redeem a reward, you will see a custom code or donation confirmation appear in the popup. If you are redeeming a free product or a discount voucher, copy this code to apply to your shopping cart.
- If you are redeeming a product reward, add this item to your cart and use the code you copied from your account in the discount code field during checkout.
If you would like to wait to use your code, you can find it at any time under "Your Rewards" when you are logged into your account.
How do I redeem my points during checkout?
You can redeem your points during checkout using our points slider feature!
Once you proceed to checkout, you will see the points slider above the discount code field that you can use to redeem your preferred amount of points (200 points per $1 off your order). Once you have selected the amount of points you would like to redeem, click the blue button to apply the discount to your order.
Important! Redeeming your points will automatically apply a discount code to your order and deduct the points from your account. If you have already entered a discount code before using the slider, it will override the code you had entered previously.
- Please remember that we are only able to accept one voucher per order at this time.
Can I redeem more than one loyalty reward at a time?
Unfortunately, we are not able to accept more than one voucher per order at this time.
Can I use a reward voucher and a discount code on the same order?
Unfortunately, our system does not allow for a loyalty reward voucher to be used at the same time as a promotional discount code during checkout.
If you would like to use one of your loyalty vouchers in addition to a promotional discount, please reach out to our customer service department and they will be happy to assist!
Will Spore Reward point redemption affect my tier status?
Nope! Point redemption does not affect tier status. Status is based on point accumulation in the past year, not total points.
How do I maintain my Mycelium or Mycosphere tier status?
Tier status is evaluated on a rolling 12-month basis. When you move into a new tier, you will remain in that tier for a minimum of 12 months, at which point you will be re-evaluated based on how many points you’ve earned in those last 12 months.
You will be moved down a tier if you have not earned enough points in the past 12 months to meet your particular tier requirement, or 5,000-9,999 points for the Mycelium tier and at least 10,000 points for the Mycosphere tier.
