As we approach the new year, many of us are looking to make a positive change. Like maybe more mocktails and less cocktails. Functional mushroom tinctures like Lion’s Mane and Chaga offer the potential to enhance focus and improve immune support, making them a perfect addition to festive beverages!
Lion's Mane Citrus Smash
Serves 2
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup cranberry juice
• 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
• 1 tablespoon lime juice
• 20 drops Lion's Mane tincture (adjust to your preference)
• 1/2 cup sparkling water or ginger beer
• Ice
Garnish Ideas
• Rosemary sprigs
• Orange slices
• Fresh pomegranate
• Candied lions mane (optional)
Recipe
1. Mix the Mocktail Base: in a shaker or large glass, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, and lion’s mane tincture. Stir or shake well to incorporate.
2. Assemble the Drinks: fill two glasses with ice. Pour the juice mixture evenly into the glasses. Top with sparkling water or ginger beer for a fizzy touch.
3. Garnish and Serve: garnish with rosemary, fresh pomegranate, and/or an orange slice for holiday flair. Kick it up with candied lions mane if you’re feeling frisky. Serve immediately!
Chaga White Russian
Serves 2
Ingredients
• 1/2 cup brewed and cooled chicory coffee (or regular, if preferred)
• 1/2 cup milk (plant-based for vegan)
• 1/4 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for vegan)
• 20 drops Chaga tincture
• 1–2 teaspoons maple syrup
• Ice
Garnish Ideas
• Pinch of cinnamon or cocoa powder
• Coffee beans or North Spore chocolate shavings
• Dusting of fresh Chaga tea (optional)
